I love creating the strips where Hank and Christie have a battle of wits. I think their whole relationship is quite interesting. In this strip, Christie attempts to gain the upper hand on him. In the end, it appears that Hank has won yet again.

  1. Every classic cartoon kid needs a female foil, Charlie Brown and Lucy, Dennis the Menace and Margaret, Hank and Christie.

  2. That’s the idea. I’m trying to give my readers that old-fashioned feel of the old newspaper comic strip classics, but with a new, up-to-date, 21st century feel.

  5. Hey…I just realized your blog link isn’t on the homepage of your website. I have to go looking for it through Michael’s site again or by clicking through yours. People WANT to find the blog!!

  6. I’m glad people are getting interested in the hijinks of ADDANAC CITY. I’ll make sure that the blog is easy to find from AC’s homepage.

btw, I believe Hank ate that sandwich after he removed the pickles. After all, ya can’t beat a free lunch (even if there is no such thing, right?).
